Fallout TV Leaks Reveal Even More Pre-War New Vegas Flashbacks

Summary

  • Showrunners Graham Wagner and Geneve Robertson-Dworet confirmed last year that Mr House “will return for more episodes”.
  • It wasn’t clear if this meant pre-war flashbacks or that he had survived New Vegas, but new set photos give us a hint.
  • Pre-war Vegas will feature in the show, and there are even Lucky 38 billboards with Mr House on them. Maybe Cooper Howard will even pay him a visit.

Even more set photos from Fallout Season 2 have leaked online, and they all but confirm that we’ll be seeing the New Vegas Strip in pre-war flashbacks at the height of its opulence.

The first season ended with a shot of the New Vegas Strip in the distance.

As shared by u/PesoPistola, who captured several photos in Downtown Los Angeles, there are pristine billboards advertising the Silver Rush Gambling Hall and Lucky 38—with Mr House front and center—as well as posters hung up by airline signs that call on flyers to “visit Las Vegas in style.”

Coupled with the baggage claim desks and TWA props strewn about the set, it appears that McCarran International Airport will also be featured in the show through flashbacks. Perhaps we’ll see Cooper Howard chart a flight to visit Mr House in New Vegas. After all, showrunners Graham Wagner and Geneve Robertson-Dworet confirmed that he “will return for more episodes”.

Mr House Will Return For “More Episodes”, Likely In Flashbacks

Many speculated that Mr House had survived the events of New Vegas, which either means that one of the endings is canon or he had a backup plan, like uploading his consciousness to a computer. While that’s still possible, the answer to how he will appear in the next season is probably a lot simpler.

It’s clear now that a pre-war Vegas will be a focal point in the show, which means that Amazon won’t have to tiptoe around the events of the game to bring back fan-favourite characters like Mr House. He can safely appear in flashbacks (just as he did last season, played by Rafi Silver), tying the pre-war and post-war stories together directly.

The “Travel Services” board also references a key New Vegas spot, calling on tourists to “Reserve your spot in Vault 21 today!”

This will also allow us to see iconic locales such as Camp McCarran, the Lucky 38, and the Silver Rush Casino in their prime, contrasting the rundown versions we’ll no doubt see Lucy stumble through. Which, if leaks are to be believed, were destroyed by deathclaws.
